This Privacy Policy explains what personal information ZAOUND collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using ZAOUND, you agree to this policy.
- •We collect the minimum needed to run your account: email, artist name, and usage activity.
- •Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
- •We never sell your personal data to anyone.
- •You can request access to or deletion of your data at any time.
- •We use your email for account, billing, and (if you opt in) promotional messages.
1.What we collect
Account info: your email address, artist name / username, and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see your password in plain text).
Usage activity: which beats you play, favorite, or unlock, and your credit balance and history.
Billing info: your subscription plan and payment status. Card details themselves are collected and stored directly by Stripe, our payment processor — ZAOUND never receives or stores your full card number.
Technical info: basic request logs (like IP address and browser type) used for security and fixing bugs.
2.How we use it
To create and manage your account, and to give you access to the beat library.
To process your subscription payments and keep your credits accurate.
To send account-related emails — confirming your email, password resets, and billing notices.
To send promotional or product-update emails only if you’ve opted in, and you can opt out at any time.
To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and keep the platform secure.
3.Who we share it with
Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication.
Stripe — processes all payments and stores your payment method securely.
Hostinger — delivers our account and support emails.
We don’t sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4.Cookies & sessions
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your session — these are required for the site to work and aren’t used for advertising.
5.Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active.
If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we’re required to retain records (for example, billing history) for legal or accounting purposes.
6.Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
You can ask us to correct or delete your personal data.
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the link in those emails.

7.Security
We rely on industry-standard providers (Supabase and Stripe) to store and process sensitive data, and we don’t store card numbers or passwords ourselves.
No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access.

We may update this policy as ZAOUND grows. If we make material changes, we’ll update the version number below and, where appropriate, let you know.
